The pride of Penang Muslims is the Floating Mosque in Tanjung Bungah. It features a two-storey building standing over the sea. It can accommodate a total of 1,500 people. Open spaces allow visitors to also enjoy the sea views. A main dome decorated with Islamic designs complements its seven-storey minaret.There is a 250-bay car park near this mosque which is popular with out-of-State visitors. It’s easily accessible from George Town. Just head towards Jalan Tanjung Bungah and you won’t miss the mosque. source
