Masjid Al-Jamiul Azzakirin is a small Indian Muslim mosque in George Town. It is located at the junction of Jalan Dr Lim Chwee Leon and Rope Walk. The original mosque is little more than a shrine, and could have been built at the turn of the 20th centurt. At that time, oxcarts were parked along Prangin Road, as the Prangin Canal was still in use to transport goods to that part of town, beyond which across the canal is the hinterland. source9/2/09
