Masjid Jalan York (Penang)

Masjid Jalan York is a small mosque along York Road (Jalan York). It is located by the banks of Sungai Air Terjun, on the opposite side of the road from the Dhoby Ghaut Temple, with the Penang General Hospital not far behind it. Its architecture provides an indication that the mosque must be quite old. source

Masjid Kampung Seronok (Penang)

This is a village mosque for Kampung Seronok and one of the bigger mosques in the Bayan Lepas area. It is located in Kampung Seronok. The Kampung Seronok Mosque may be even older than the village itself, as it is believed to be over seventy years old. Kampung Seronok has promoted itself as a model Malay village, and put in place several cultural activities such as top spinning and batik printing to attract visitors.

Masjid Haji Kassim (Penang)


This is an old Malay mosque at Kampung Makam, off Jalan Dato Keramat. Like many old mosques, it has undergone renovation and expansion a few times, with a newer annex attached to the original brick building, which itself was a rebuilt of the wooden mosque structure.

Masjid Al-Ittifaq (Sg. Nibong Kecil, Penang)

Masjid Al-Ittifaq, also known as Masjid Sungai Nibong Kecil, is an old mosque that has been renovated and expanded a few times. It is located at Kampung Seberang Paya in Sungai Nibong Kecil. The area is now often regarded as part of the Bukit Jambul locality, being right next to the Bukit Jambul Golf Course.
